Issue: Human/Child trafficking is California’s most profitable criminal industry, valued at several billion dollars. It generates more victims and dollars than half the country (25 states) combined.
Solution: We are forming a specialized task force of rescue professionals, using technology to identify perpetrators, and holding those in power accountable. We will launch a full CPS and foster system investigation and publish obstructors of justice publicly on a website.
We will drive anti-grooming legislation and make child trafficking a severe, highly punishable crime, including the death penalty.
We are committed to not allowing the scourge of human trafficking to go without consequence any longer. We will fight until it is eradicated.
